Another One Bites The Dust
This is truly sad news as the band hasn’t played a show in Montreal since 2006′s Osheaga Festival. Their last scheduled date in Montreal was also canceled due to the main act, Serena Maneesh, being refused entry at the border. Well we wish the two Meligrove Band members with Swine Flu speedy recoveries and hope that they can return to our city sooner rather than later. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled for their new album, which will be released at some point early in 2010.
But the good news is, the show will go on. The Most Serene Republic are as healthy as oxen and are ready to wow us all at Il Motore this Friday, November 13th. No other openers have been announced as of yet, so we can assume for the time being that Charlotte Cornfield will be the only opener.
