Jonathan Emile is the freakin’ man! I love Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Common, this guy is like a mixture of all of them when he raps. He’s got damain marley vibe going on some of his tracks too. Never knew he was a fan of Leonard Cohen makes sense I guess.

This is a great interview. I like this website a lot! I did some more research on this guy and he seems pretty refreshing, truly different from any other “rap” or hip-hop I’ve ever heard. I’m an indie rock lover and this guy gets my support. I bought his CD on itunes after some more listening.
