Air Are Coming To Town

The same tour that will bring the duo to over thirty different venues in Europe from now until mid February will also have the duo stopping at Montreal’s Metropolis on March 22nd. Whether you’re just a casual listener or know them from their Moon Safari, Virgin Suicides days the fact can’t be denied that Air have been one of the most consistent electronia bands of the last decade. Their latest album, Love 2, was released this October, and while Pitchfork didn’t like it (do they like anything other than Animal Collective and Radiohead), it was generally met with favourable reviews. Expect to hear some songs from their new LP, but judging by their last performance in Montreal, they will likely play many of their older songs as well. Opening will be AM.
