Before The Show: A Love Letter To The Field

Along with Murray and Natalia of The Dears and the mysterious ‘A‘, you can catch performances by Young Galaxy, Gutstrings (who are one of our favourite new Montreal bands), Richard “King” Rigby of Lake of Stew, The World Provider and DJ Patti Smith. That is quite the lineup if you ask me. All proceeds will go to Action Against Hunger, which is an organization that is committed to saving the lives of starving people around the world and providing lasting solutions to hunger and malnutrition around the world. They have been concentrating on getting Haiti back on their feet after the terrible disaster that struck and are asking for your help.

Tickets for this event are a suggested donation of $15.00 at the door. I think we can all afford to fork up $15.00 to not only see some great bands perform but, more importantly, for a good cause. If you can’t make it out to the show but would still like to donate you can do so here.
