The Fur Ball: A Night of Class and Bluegrass
Their last benefit show was in January and featured performances by Amy Millan and Bud Rice. This time around there will be a little bit of a different vibe. The event is called The Fur Ball, and it is sure to be a lovely night celebrating some of Canada’s coolest bluegrass and country artists while all the while supporting a great cause. First up will be Montreal’s The Sonny Best Band, followed by Amy Keeler and the Shambles and then Montreal bluegrass kings, Lake of Stew will perform. The whole thing will be going down at Divan Orange, this Thursday, March 18th at 9:00 PM. Bring your wallet because there will be tons of great things to buy like pins, posters, t-shirts and other goodies with all proceed going directly to saving cute and cuddly little critters. Tickets are only $6.00 and can be purchased online here, or at the door for $10.00. Just look at the neat little poster below. If cats and dogs dressed to the nines doesn’t make you want to come out and party I don’t know what will.
