Free Downoad of the Week: The Wailing Wall – “Dandelion”
If you’re not familiar with The Wailing Wall, it is essentially the solo musical project of LA born (currently residing in NYC) multi-instrumentalist Jesse Rifkin. To call The Wailing Wall a solo project however would be a huge understatement. Yes Rifkin often performs as a solo artist, as he did when he was here last week opening for Tim Fite at Il Motore. But on record, while Rifkin is the mastermind behind the music, he surrounds himself with a large cast of friends that help make the magic that we hear on his albums. On his latest LP, The Low Hanging Fruit, which will be released on June 8th, Rifkin enlisted the help of none other than Tim Fite himself. The results are pretty incredible, as you can here on the album’s latest single, “Dandelion” which we are offering to you as a free download for this week only.
