Valleys + Jane Vain Ticket Giveaway – ENDED
In our latest contest we asked you to name as many Montreal streets as you can that start with the letter P. You all did an incredible job, but the winner, who really went above and beyond, is none other than Alejandra C. Congratulations Alejandra, you have won a pair of tickets to see Valleys and Jane Vain. Simply give your name at the door and you and a friend will be admitted to the show.
Even if you didn’t win you should still check this one out because it’s going to be a goody. The show, which is being put on by Pop Montreal, is the first stop on their second annual Pop Off Tour which begins on tomorrow, June 11th in Montreal and will run until July 3rd where it will come to an end in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Playing is none other than Valleys and Jane Vain. Jane Vain needs no introduction around Montreal. No matter where or when she plays there will be a large contingency of fans hanging on her every word and thrashing around to her bands tunes. It also just so happens that Jane Vain will be releasing a brand new album at this show, so there’s another reason to check this one out. But the other reason this show is going to be great is because…well Valleys are playing. This Canadian indie rock trio have been receiving a lot of due praise since their latest album’s release. Sometimes Water Kills People (Semprini Records) is the name and it has people comparing them to the likes of Swans, Mazzy Star and Thee Silver Mt. Zion.
