RATATAT Announce Tour, Play Metropolis Sept. 7, 2010
The last time we had a chance to catch these guys live was at Montreal’s Club Soda as a part of the 2008 Pop Montreal Festival. Who knew these guys had so many fans. And these weren’t just your average concert goers but die-hard RATATAT fans all mindlessly shoving their way towards the front of the stage, trying to get as close as they could to the two Brooklynites. With no more than some guitar, bass, synths and autoharp these guys just destroyed Club Soda with their sound. Well, it’s time to get excited again because this explosive duo will be making their way back to our Northern city this September in support of their excellent new album, LP4. This time around they will play the slightly larger Metropolis and tickets go on sale as early as this Saturday, July 10th so be sure to pick yourself up a pair before it’s too late.
