Quest For The Fest Recap
Every team that participated did incredibly well. One team even managed to find a goldfish! There could be only one grand prize winner however. The grand prize winners who, along with a package of great indie swag, won a big package of tickets for this year’s Pop Montreal Festival (Sept. 29 to Oct. 5) were The Killer Pearlz! These gals really lived up to their team name as they blew the competition out of the water, all the while looking stylish in their famous pearlz. In a close second was a team that didn’t live up to their name, The Peg Legs. But what they did show is a passion for treasure hunting and while they may have missed out on the grand prize they went home with a nice sack of loot. Coming in third place was the wicked and wild Subtropic Killer Whales who were dressed as wacky as their team name and they too went home with some great swag.
