The Yellow Bird Project just keeps getting better and better. A few week’s back we were thrilled to see that the Montreal based charity organization had a new design by none other than singer/songwriter Andrew Bird. Now we find out that their latest acquisition is Baltimore based dream pop duo, Beach House. YBP is a non-profit organization that works with band’s to create a t-shirt design with the profits going to the charity of the band’s chosing. They have already worked with the likes of Bon Iver, of Montreal, The Shins, Broken Social Scene, The National, Grizzly Bear and many more, and now we can add the lovely Beach House to the mix. Their design is of a gorgeous pastelle house and the proceeds from the sales of the shirt will go to a very noble cause in House Of Ruth; an organization that assists female victims of domestic abuse.
