Arbutus Records Is Making Waves in April
Tomorrow night at Casa Del Popolo the label will be hosting a fundraiser show in the hopes of raising money for the release of TONSTARTSSBANDHT‘s forthcoming Now I Am Become LP, that will be released in May. You can hear a first taste of the LP by clicking here. Along with a performance by Andy Summers of TONSTARTSSBANDHT, we will also hear from Arbutus band Pop Winds, who have been working on a ton of new material for their forthcoming album that will be released later this summer. And rounding out the lineup will be Makeout Videotape. That show is going down tomorrow night, April 6th at Casa Del Popolo and the cost of entry is $5.00.
The other show that the folks at Arbutus have organized for us this month is an album launch show at La Sala Rossa for a forthcoming split EP by Montrealers D’Eon and Grimes entitled Darkbloom. The EP will see its official release on April 19th but you will be able to purchase the album at the show as well. Tickets for this one can be purchased at Casa Del Popolo, Phonopolis or Cheap Thrills in advance for $5.00 or at the door for $7.00.
