Here you’ll find a comprehensive list of concerts big and small that will be taking place throughout the city of Montreal during the month of February. This list has been compiled from various sources around the web and will constantly change as new shows are announced or more information becomes available. Pop Montreal Announces Full Festival Lineup
Pop Montreal turns 10 this year and to celebrate their ten years as one of Montreal’s top concert promoters they have put together yet another incredible festival this year. Plants & Animals and Basia Bulat Play Free Show This Friday
To wrap up Dawson College’s 2011 Orientation, the Dawson Student Union has organized a great concert that will take place this Friday at La Tulipe featuring Montreal’s own Plants & Animals as well as Toronto, Ontario folk singer/songwriter Basia Bulat. Two Polaris Prize nominated acts in one place and the best part is, the show is absolutely free. Read more…
This Week In Montreal
We’ve got a nice mixed bag this week in Montreal. From the second annual Montreal Jewish Music Festival that kicked off yesterday and will run until Wednesday to Kath Bloom’s show at Casa Del Popolo on Tuesday to some great electro shows happening later this week, there’s pretty much something for everyone. If you’re going to pick one show to go to this week we’re going to suggest you check out Male Bonding’s show that will take place at Il Motore on Thursday. This Week In Montreal
It’s not the busiest week of shows this week in Montreal but as always there are a select few concerts that deserve some attention. The biggest thing going on this week is Lil Wayne’s long awaited Montreal performance at the Bell Center, but if you’re looking for something a little more low key perhaps you should check out Zach Deputy and First You Get The Sugar at Divan Orange on Tuesday and Scattered Trees at Casa Del Popolo on Friday. The Fans of Osheaga 2011
Osheaga 2011 was a very special year not only because of the amazing amount of great bands and artists that showed up to play this year’s festival, but because of all the wonderful fans that came out to enjoy the festivities. The Osheaga Festival would be nothing without the fans so as a tribute to all the amazing personalities that come together every summer to enjoy a weekend full of great music, here’s some photos of you, the fans.
