This Will Destroy You – Petit Campus – Sunday, June 6th, 2010
Montrealers have proven themselves to be troopers when it comes to bad weather. No amount of rain or ominous cloud coverage can draw them away from what they want to do, whether it be bike 50 km around the city or crowd together in a small room for some good music. Interview: The Wailing Wall
Jesse Rifkin, or as most know him, The Wailing Wall is a multi-instrumentalist who was born in LA but now calls New York City home. His DIY approach to writing music and creative songwriting abilities have been raising many eyebrows around the indie music scene. Midlake – Le National – Thursday, May 21st, 2010
Last night was a night many Midlake fans had been waiting for for a very long time. When the Texas folk outfit released their The Trials of Van Occupanther album the band’s at that point modest fanbase grew exponentially. Since then it has continued to grow as more and more people became aware of the wonder that is Midlake.
