The Youjsh EP Launch – Green Room – Saturday, April 24, 2010
I arrived a little bit too early for The Youjsh’s EP launch Saturday night; a show that also featured Montreal’s Tiny Dictators in the opening spot, but it was definitely worth the hour-long wait. Equally strong performances by both bands made this event worthy of an encore performance in itself.
Murder Ford Monument – Self Titled
Who was it that said music is most meaningful when it arouses some of your deepest emotions? I think that might have been me, but either way, Montreal collective Murder Ford Monument’s debut, self-titled LP is one of those albums that is best enjoyed when you invest yourself in it, rather than having it as casual background music.

Last night Green Room hosted local favourite Laurent Bourque and Canada’s rising star Dan Mangan where atmosphere and a great audience were key factors in what was an evenly entertaining affair. You could say that, well, 4/20 ended on a…..high?
