The Pomptet + TEA & Co – O Patro Vys – 10/01/12
Walking into a busy venue on a weekday tends to make you forget what day it really is. So when people walked into the O Patro Vys last night, it was impossible to think it was actually a Tuesday, and that most people probably had class or work to go to the next day. However, any worrying academic or financial thought was flushed out for a few hours, as the crowd of friends and fans alike gathered around the little show space to support the sweet, amicable, and ever-growing bands of the night. Interview: Gabrielle Papillon
Meet You At The Show had the pleasure of meeting up with folk singer-songwriter Gabrielle Papillon at Autours d’un Pain in the village. MYATS recently reviewed her album launch at Casa Del Popolo on November 29th, and we adored her set. Having just recently finished a lengthy tour around Canada, Gabrielle took the time to chat with us about the music she is listening to, what touring is like, how her album came together and more.

K-Os – Club Soda – 12.10.2011
K-Os made a return to Montreal this weekend, supported by Toronto’s up-and-coming The Dirty Mags. Although they were at opposite end’s of the music spectrum next to K-Os, they captured the audience with their buzzing energy and thrashing guitars. K-Os, as always, put on an a jaw-dropping show filled with dancing, big smiles and great energy. Take a look at some of our photos we grabbed from the night.
