After a sufficiently elongated break, Canadian Indie Geography is back with part trois. We know Ontario and Quebec are a combined sector, but we just had the hardest time trying to narrow down the pool of talented artists that reside in these two provinces, which is why we’ve separated them and given them their own individual posts. Before The Show: A Love Letter To The Field
Tomorrow night Green Room will host a variety of Canadian musicians in a benefit for Haiti called A Love Letter To The Field. Playing will be Murray & Natalia of The Dears, Apostle of Hustle front man Andrew Whiteman’s new side project that goes by the name ‘A’ as well as a lot of other great artists. All proceeds from the show will go to Action Against Hunger in Haiti.

Apostle Of Hustle Hit The Road
Eclectic Canadian Rockers Apostle of Hustle are taking the show on the road this month with select dates in Quebec and Ontario in support of their latest release, Eats Darkness. This mini-tour includes a stop in Montreal at the quaint Il Motore on November 27th.
Venue of the Month: Il Motore
If you want to set up a tent outside any venue in Montreal during the month of November, it’s pretty safe to say that Il Motore is the place to be. Boasting a modest 16 shows throughout the month, this bar and salle-a-concert will play host to some of the best artists around today. We’ve got Apostle of Hustle, The Most Serene Republic, J Tillman, Fuck Buttons, Growing, Little Dragon and Miles Anthony Benjamin. And that’s just to name a few. Let’s take a look at some of the other highlights.
