Paul McCartney To Play The Bell Center This August
We don’t often speak much about Bell Center shows here at MYATS. Not that we have anything against the Gagas and Biebers of the world. We just seem to feel more connected to what’s happening at our cities smaller venues. But we just couldn’t hold back in writing about this one. That’s right, legendary Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney will make his triumphant return to Montreal this summer, playing at the Bell Center on Thursday, August 12th.
Simon & Garfunkel Postpone Tour
Bad news for all you Simon & Garfunkel fans, and I know there are a lot of you. Due to vocal strain the duo has decided to postpone their current tour that was supposed to take place throughout the months of April and May until July. Their stop at Montreal’s Bell Center, originally scheduled for May 15th, has been postponed until July 22nd.
This Week in Montreal
We’ve got yet another incredible week of shows lined up in Montreal this week. While you may notice the week will start off a little slow, by the end of the week there are so many great shows happening you’re not gonna know what to do with yourself. Take this Thursday for example. Are you going to go see Horse Feathers at Divan Orange, Timber Timbre & The Luyas at La Tulipe, The Album Leaf & Sea Wolf at the Cabaret or Joseph Arthur at La Sala Rossa. Not to mention Lullabye Arkestra is also playing at Casa Del Popolo the same night! These are just a handful of shows, all happening this week in Montreal.

Peter Gabriel Announces Montreal Spring Date, Covers Arcade Fire
After a long wait of seven years (who are we kidding, this is the standard delayed return), Peter Gabriel is returning to Montreal. Announced on Peter Gabriel’s official website, he plays the Bell Centre on April 28, 2010 in support of his forthcoming covers album Scratch My Back. Read more…
