This Week in Montreal

This Week in Montreal

After a little break, This Week in Montreal is back in full force with a slew of exciting shows on the horizon. It’s difficult for us at MYATS to contain our excitement over tomorrow’s Sufjan Stevens show. In town to promote his new LP The Age of Adz, expect nothing short of spectacular from the mysterious Mr. Stevens. If you’re in the mood to let off some steam, Dan Deacon‘s Wednesday show at Cabaret Mile End may do the trick – caution not for the claustrophobic. Finally, Deerhunter are in town performing at La Tulipe on Sunday. While the ensemble’s side projects, such as Atlas Sound and Lotus Plaza, have tided us over, we’re excited to see the group back together and touring for the glorious new LP Halcyon Digest. Keep on reading for more highlights of shows happening around town this week, including Avi Buffalo, Blonde Redhead and The Drums.
