This Week In Montreal
There’s a lot going on in the city this week starting with three very worthy shows tonight. The biggest one would be The Black Keys and Cage The Elephant at the Bell Center, but if your looking for something a little more low key you should check out 100 Monkeys at La Sala Rossa or The Wooden Birds at Casa Del Popolo, who will be sharing the stage with Montreal’s own Folly & The Hunter. Videos From The Holly Jolly Holiday Bash
Last Sunday we threw our very own holiday party called The Holly Jolly Holiday Bash. We brought in some of Montreal’s best musicians to play some songs, we gave away lots of presents and all the money raised was donated to one of our favourite local charity organizations; Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue. MYATS Presents…Holly Jolly Holiday Bash – 12.19.10
This past Sunday night at Le Cagibi we put on our very own Holly Jolly Holiday Bash. The night was filled with great music, great food and drinks and lots of prizes. Best yet, we raised money for the wonderful Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue. We’re Putting On A Show!
Mark your calendars Montreal! We are thrilled to announce that this Saturday, November 6th, we will be putting on a show at Bar L’Absynthe featuring two up and coming Toronto bands, Clothes Make The Man and Jane’s Party along with two of our local favourites Burls and The Wind Up Radio Sessions. This show will also serve as our one year anniversary so not only will you have a chance to hear some great music from some of Canada’s most promising talent but you will also get to raise a glass with the MYATS crew in our celebration of our first birthday. This Week In Montreal
We’ve got yet another great week of shows lined up for this week in Montreal. But what makes this week different from every other week is that this Saturday, we will be putting on a show at Bar L’Absynthe featuring two great Toronto Bands, Clothes Make The Man and Jane’s Party along with two of our favourite local acts, Burls and The Wind Up Radio Sessions. We will also be celebrating our first year anniversary on Saturday night so we hope you can all come out to celebrate with us. Efterklang – La Sala Rossa – Friday, March 5th, 2010
Last night, La Sala Rossa provided the backdrop for Danish band Efterklang, with homegrown band Burls opening. The space began to fill up early, everyone eager for the show to begin. By the time Burls entered the stage, the room had begun to buzz with anticipation.
Venue of the Month: La Sala Rossa
It’s time to announce our venue of the month for the month of March. No it’s not Il Motore as it has been twice in the past four months. While there is of course some great stuff going down at Il Motore this month, we have chosen Spanish restaurant/concert hall La Sala Rossa as our venue of the month for March. There are things going down at Sala on 28 of the 31 nights of March. Here are some highlights.
