Meet You At The Show had the pleasure of meeting up with folk singer-songwriter Gabrielle Papillon at Autours d’un Pain in the village. MYATS recently reviewed her album launch at Casa Del Popolo on November 29th, and we adored her set. Having just recently finished a lengthy tour around Canada, Gabrielle took the time to chat with us about the music she is listening to, what touring is like, how her album came together and more.

Hey Rosetta! – 26.11.11 – Corona Theatre
An early start to last night’s show left room for nearly four hours of incredible music from all parts of the world. Seattle’s Ivan & Alyosha got the night going with their lovely pop songs, getting the crowd in an amazing mood right from the start. Next up was the incredibly captivating Jezabels from down under, who proved to have brought in a good quarter of the night’s audience. On November 8th, Caroline Keating opened for The Hoof & The Heel at Casa Del Popolo. Having recently gone from performing solo to performing as a trio, Caroline Keating’s show was awaited with much anticipation and fans were not disappointed as they were treated to a fun, graceful, and intimate performance. Minutes before taking the stage, Caroline discussed with us what she is listening to these days, her upcoming album, and how she feels about playing with band members.

We took the time to sit down with Australian electro trio Art vs. Science this week and have a chat with vocalist and keyboardist Jim Finn. These guys have toured with big names such as Chemical Brothers and La Roux, and are going to be in town this Thursday, October 27th at Club Lambi. Their recent album The Experiment peaked at #2 on the Australian charts, and they are known to be one of their country’s best live acts.
