A mob of ever faithful fans assembled this past Friday for the highly anticipated return of Montreal-based electro funk duo Chromeo who have been on tour promoting the release of their hit record, Business Casual. Six months since their last appearance in the city where it all began, a sold out Metropolis could only serve as further proof that their 80s retro electro-gangsta-soul-funk formula was exactly what the music scene had been lacking for all these years.

Well that’s all folks. Osheaga 2010 has come to an end. I think it’s safe to say a good time was had by all and despite the long lemonade lines (and consequently long bathroom lines) the entire weekend went off without a hitch. I think we all deserve to finally put our feet up and relax after standing for twenty hours with only a little rest in between days. La Roux – Metropolis – Friday, February 5th

This past Friday, Montreal played host to a significant amount of musical talent. Among the number of artists performing were rock legends, Mötley Crüe and Montreal’s own, Coeur de Pirate. Also riding the wave of success, one of electropop’s newest sensations, La Roux was back in Montreal and ready to unleash a synth storm. Having sold out nearly two months prior to the event, it was clear that this was a highly anticipated return.
