Best Shows of 2010
2010 has been an amazing year for shows in Montreal thanks to our city’s wonderful concert promoters who have worked their butts off bringing in the worlds best musical talent for our viewing pleasure. After another meeting of the minds we have finally come up with a list of our top 10 shows of the year. This will be the final segment in our Best of 2010 series and we would like to take this time to thank all of you for making our first year running as special as it has been. Wilco – L’Olympia – Saturday, February 27th, 2010
Last night was a big night in Montreal. Why? Because the mighty Wilco was in town to perform at the completely sold out Olympia. I think everyone in attendance expected a great performance, but to say last night’s performance was only great would be the understatement of the century.
BSTB Celebrate Anniversary This Week
Since our inception, we have had the pleasure of working with the wonderful people at Blue Skies Turn Black. For a decade now, this Montreal concert promoter has been working extremely hard, booking bands to play Montreal that perhaps would have never stopped here in the past, further enriching our local arts scene. This weekend, Blue Skies Turn Black will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary, and they have invited Montreal music fans to the party.
