Jenn Grant Ticket Giveaway – ENDED
Tomorrow night, Indie Montreal will be putting on a very special show at Divan Orange featuring the lovely and talented Canadian singer/songwriter, Jenn Grant. That would be enough reason to be excited on its own, but wait…there’s more! Opening up the night will be two great local musicians, David Martel and Laurent Bourque, making this a show you really don’t want to miss. This Week in Montreal
We’ve got another great week of shows lined up for this week in Montreal. The week kicks off with Yann Tiersen who is well known for his film score composition work (Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulain, Good Bye Lenin!), and just keeps going with great show after great show. Also taking the stage this week in Montreal will be Tennis, Dum Dum Girls, The Luyas, Jenn Grant, Asobi Seksu, Brahms and more. Take a look at all of this weeks highlights after the jump.
The Lindbergh Line – Casa Del Popolo – 01.02.11
It was a bitterly cold Tuesday night in Montreal. But if you thought that would dampen people’s spirits and keep them away from the triple EP launch that was going down at Casa Del Popolo, you were wrong. By 10 PM, a sea of jubilant people rolled through the doors, paid the 5$ admission and were ready to hear what the night would have to offer. Read more…
Venue of the Month: Il Motore
It was a bit tough to choose our venue of the month for February, because of how many great shows are taking place throughout the city this month. But after much deliberation, we have chosen Il Motore, for the second time in three months, as our venue of the month of February.
