As the leaves change, BBQs go into storage and the dreaded coat-check returns, sometimes it's hard to fight the urge to not leave your cozy couch. Yet us Montreal veterans know that Fall should be savored. It's an idyllic few weeks before the winter army of Canada Goose clones take over the city. Why not celebrate the most glorious of seasons by checking out one of the many exciting shows happening around town this week? Phoenix are back in town. While we can't stand CEPSUM, and are a little confused as to how WAVVES were thrown into the mix, hey it's Phoenix! We're also kind of curious to check out Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan. Acollaboration between the former Belle & Sebastian singer and former Screaming Trees frontman, we've got a soft spot for odd couplings. Keep on reading for more show highlights, including The Hold Steady, Local Natives and Two Door Cinema Club.

Big big big new show announcements! Yes you heard right, Damon Albarn and his Gorrilaz will be coming to town this fall, playing at the Bell Center on September 4th. We've also got Kele Okerere of Bloc Party coming to town the same night. Kele was supposed to be playing at this year's Osheaga Festival but had to reschedule his tour. Take a look at all the rest of the great shows that have been just announced.

Fourt Tet's latest album, There Is Love in You, is an unpredictable electronic album, probably unlike any other dance music you have ever heard. This is an album without the limitations of steady, repetitive beats found in typical dance music but one that you must actually feel the music to make you move. This album was made for and by dancers, as Keiran Hebden created these songs by playing them for London club goers and adjusting them judging by their responses until they were perfect.
