Last Sunday we threw our very own holiday party called The Holly Jolly Holiday Bash. We brought in some of Montreal’s best musicians to play some songs, we gave away lots of presents and all the money raised was donated to one of our favourite local charity organizations; Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue. This past Sunday night at Le Cagibi we put on our very own Holly Jolly Holiday Bash. The night was filled with great music, great food and drinks and lots of prizes. Best yet, we raised money for the wonderful Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue. Tonight’s The Night!
Ho ho ho! It’s that jolly time of year again! And what better way to enjoy the winter holidays than settling in at a cozy and intimate coffeehouse gathering, while giving back to the community at the same time. The Breezes EP Launch – Casa Del Popolo – Wednesday, January 20th
Last night was the official launch party for Montreal band The Breezes‘ debut self titled EP. While this was supposed to be a celebration for the release, the night felt more like a party celebrating the Montreal music scene in general as we got a taste of some of Montreal’s best up and comers.
Venue of the Month: Casa Del Popolo
While January won’t go down in history as the best month of shows in Montreal, our venue of the month for January is a cute little vegetarian restaurant/cafe/bar that will play host to a few great bands throughout the month of January.
