Last night at La Sala Rossa in Montreal, Blue Skies Turn Black put on a show featuring two of Montreal’s finest; Receivers and Coral Red. Going into this one I was unsure of what to expect, having only had limited exposure to either band, but as I walked through the doors and saw the sea of people that had showed up for this one I knew I was in for something special.

Montreal’s Stars is a band that for over the course of 10 years, 4 albums and a whole bunch of EPs have solidified their place as one of Montreal’s most notable bands. It’s been awhile since we have heard from these guys but as we found out in this interview, they have been quite busy.
