Earlier this week we received the sad news that BC indie pop band You Say Party had decided to take an indefinite hiatus. The music world was shaken a year ago when the band’s drummer, Devon Clifford, collapsed on stage and died two days later from a brain hemorrhage. Get ready, Jónsi is coming to Montreal!

Sigur Rós fans listen up! Contrary to previous belief, Sigur Rós are not releasing an album this year; they will actually be taking an indefinite hiatus (!!), due to interference from side projects and family. But, there is hope in this time of despair! Jónsi Birgisson, who fronts the band, will be going on tour in support of his forthcoming and much-anticipated debut solo album, Go. He will be making a stop in our beautiful city on May 2nd, at Metropolis.
