The Fur Ball – Divan Orange – Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Last night Divan Orange hosted Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue‘s latest benefit show. The event, which was aptly called “The Fur Ball”, would feature performances by some great Canadian bluegrass and country bands. Amy Lou Keeler would perform first, followed by Montreal’s Sonny Best Band and headliners, Lake of Stew.

The Fur Ball: A Night of Class and Bluegrass

This Thursday there will be a very special event going on in Montreal to benefit one of our favourite local non-profit organizations. Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue is an organization that specializes in finding homes for harder to place animals or animals that are going to be euthanized and since their inception they have been working extremely hard to raise money to be able to help as many animals as possible.

Before The Show: A Love Letter To The Field

Tomorrow night Green Room will host a variety of Canadian musicians in a benefit for Haiti called A Love Letter To The Field. Playing will be Murray & Natalia of The Dears, Apostle of Hustle front man Andrew Whiteman’s new side project that goes by the name ‘A’ as well as a lot of other great artists. All proceeds from the show will go to Action Against Hunger in Haiti.
