This Week In Montreal
An early spring has been predicted by all the major players in the groundhog industry and so there is reason to be happy, even though we’re still digging our way out of the dumping of snow we received on Saturday night. Matt and Kim – Le National – 10.30.10
The Halloween spirit was alive and kicking at Le National on Saturday night for the Matt and Kim show with some concert-goers in costume and ready to party. First up was Montreal’s own The Hoof & The Heel. These guys are no stranger to opening for some big acts, having shared the stage with the likes of Au Revoir Simone, The Luyas, White Rabbits and Winter Gloves this past year. However, last night’s opening slot for Matt and Kim may have been their biggest show yet, and they did not disappoint as they played a concise set of songs from their first two EPs, And All The Tigers and Fireworks.
