They’ve already released two albums and I think it’s safe to say, this Swedish group is something to get excited about. This Week In Montreal
While the month of January may have started off a little slow in Montreal, things really get going this week with a whole bunch of great shows on the calendar. Before Lauryn Hill closes out the week at Metropolis on Sunday, there are lots of smaller shows that are definitely worthy of some attention. We highly recommend you check out Oberhofer, Cloud Nothings and Intensive Care at Casa Del Popolo on Tuesday, The Concretes at La Sala Rossa on Wednesday and BRAIDS at Sala on Thursday. But here’s the general picture of what’s going on this week in Montreal.

If you want to set up a tent outside any venue in Montreal during the month of November, it’s pretty safe to say that Il Motore is the place to be. Boasting a modest 16 shows throughout the month, this bar and salle-a-concert will play host to some of the best artists around today. We’ve got Apostle of Hustle, The Most Serene Republic, J Tillman, Fuck Buttons, Growing, Little Dragon and Miles Anthony Benjamin. And that’s just to name a few.
