We Are The City + Rah Rah + Aidan Knight – Casa Del Popolo – 08.03.11
Last Tuesday marked my first reluctant attempt at getting back into going to shows. Due to having gone through so many back-to-back letdowns during the last few times I went to see a band play, I wasn’t initially prompted to even set foot in Casa Del Popolo, especially since each of the acts have regular plays in my music library and I really didn’t want to be left disappointed by a selfish, immature crowd etching away at my patience. Vivian Girls – La Sala Rossa – Tuesday, March 9th, 2010
Last night, Vivian Girls, Drunk Dial and Male Bonding hosted a show at La Sala Rossa filled with noisy punk rock and a whole lot of talent. Although the hall was empty until about 10:00 PM (in true Montreal fashion), the audience somehow managed to make it just in time to catch the opening band.
