Metric & Los Campesinos! Are Coming To…Laval?
While I wish this article was to tell you that Metric and Los Campesinos! were coming to Montreal, that is not the case. Instead, the Canadian electro-rockers and the intense indie-poppers from Wales will be heading to Laval instead. And that’s not all. Patrick Watson and Timber Timbre will also be playing in Laval in the near future, as will Coeur de Pirate. But hey! Laval isn’t that far right?
Osheaga 2010 Lineup Announced
Osheaga lineup announcement day is always on of the most exciting for us Montreal music lovers. In the past we’ve had our share of ups and downs when it came to announcement day, but it seems that the last few years have been pretty disappointing for many. Well it’s time to get excited about our little island’s major summer festival again because the lineup this year is just about as good as it gets.
TV On The Radio Design Shirt for Montreal Charity
As if TV on the Radio weren’t already cool enough, the Brooklyn based 5-piece has recently designed a lovely new t-shirt for our friends at The Yellow Bird Project. The proceeds from the shirt will go to Partners in Health, an organization that has been one of the leaders in getting Haiti back on it’s feet after the devastating earthquake that hit last month.
