Hexes & Ohs have been one of the most lasting bands to come out of Montreal in the last 10 years. They have been laying low since the release of their last album, Bedroom Madness, back in 2008, but this year they are making a comeback in a big way. The band has signed to a new label, has a new album in the works and is in the process of lining up some live gigs as well. The first of which is going down tomorrow night, March 24th at Casa Del Popolo as a part of CJLO‘s Signal To Noise benefit series. Saturday Video Parade: Halloween Edition!
Happy Halloween everyone! It’s going to be a spooky weekend in Montreal with children and adults running around the city dressed as goblins and ghouls (and doctors and Elvis). There are plenty of fun things to do this Halloween and for us music lovers there are a few great shows going on in the city. Tonight, Matt & Kim are playing at Le National while The Besnard Lakes & Wintersleep are playing at Cabaret Mile-End. Tomorrow night Diamond Rings will put on the city’s best Halloween party at Il Motore so be sure to check that out.
