Miracle Fortress Returns With New Album, Single, Tour
It’s been about 4 years since we’ve heard anything new from Montreal’s Miracle Fortress (AKA Graham Van Pelt). There is good news on the horizon for those of us that have been eagerly awaiting some new music from the talented multi-instrumentalist. Van Pelt has just put the finishing touches on his long awaited Sophomore LP, entitled Was I The Wave?, which will be released on April 26th via Secret City Records. Read more…
Interview: No Joy
No Joy is Jasmine White-Gluz and Laura Lloyd: both guitarists, singers, and good friends. The local dream-pop/noise duo are about to launch their first full-length album, entitled Ghost Blonde, this Saturday, November 27th at the quaint Casa del Popolo along with Ducktails, Grimes and METZ. We spoke to one half of No Joy, Laura Lloyd, about where they come from and where they’re headed next.
