Misteur Valaire – Metropolis – 12.10.2011
On Saturday night, Quebec’s own Misteur Valaire came through Montreal and made his stop at Metropolis. Our photographer Christie Vuong was on the scene, and she grabbed some fantastic photos to share with you. Take a look, you won’t regret it! It looks like it was an out-of-this-world show. Enjoy!
Tandoori Knights – Il Motore – 30.11.11
Il Motore was fully revved on Wednesday night due to a packed house and a spicy menu as Bloodshot Bill, Crystal Stilts and Tandoori Knights took over Little Italy. Mile-Enders and Montrealers from all over answered the call to catch up with some of this city’s brightest and boldest rock n’ rollers and to be taken on a cross-continental journey of music and theatrics. As the punters shuffled in, dragging wisps of cold air behind them, the DJ played a mix of vinyl that zig-zagged between Detroit rock, British invasion, southern soul and noise rock. Folly and the Hunter – Casa del Popolo – 11.27.2011

Interview: Current Swell
As Current Swell are making their way around the Eastern parts of Canada, our lovely MYATS member Christelle got to ask band-member Davers Lang a few questions about their new album, as well as their growth as a band, and their influences. We’re probably just as excited as you are for them to head up to Montreal with tour-mates Michou in a couple of days, but in the meantime, here’s an interview to hold us off for a bit!

Interview: Caroline Keating
On November 8th, Caroline Keating opened for The Hoof & The Heel at Casa Del Popolo. Having recently gone from performing solo to performing as a trio, Caroline Keating’s show was awaited with much anticipation and fans were not disappointed as they were treated to a fun, graceful, and intimate performance. Minutes before taking the stage, Caroline discussed with us what she is listening to these days, her upcoming album, and how she feels about playing with band members.

On Tuesday, November 8th, Meet You At The Show’s own Pamela Fillion sat down with singer-songwriter JF Robitaille over mint tea and a mocha and had a chat about his recently released album Calendar, his song writing, and how he likes to drink his coffee. He was candid, charming, and genuine just like his songs. Needless to say, interviewing JF Robitaille at Casa Del Popolo was a real pleasure.
