Rah Rah Prepare To Break Hearts in 2010
One of Canada’s biggest rising stars, Regina Saskatchewan’s Rah Rah have been toiling away, working on what will eventually be their sophomore full length LP, entitled Breaking Hearts. The album will hit stores just in time to ring in summer on June 1st. We’ve got all the deats along with the album cover and track list for you after the jump.
Wolf Parade Unveil New Album Cover
Let’s face it, this is going to be the summer of Wolf Parade. Not only is the band scheduled to play back to back shows in Montreal on July 8th and 9th at Le National, But Krug and co. are also putting the finishing touches on the band’s third full length album, entitled Expo 86. While we haven’t heard anything yet music-wise, at least we now have an album cover to fawn over.
Wintersleep Offer First Taste Of New Album
It has been awhile since we have heard from Halifax, Nova Scotia’s Wintersleep, with their last album, Welcome to the Night Sky being released at the end of 2007. This would be the album that would pay an instrumental role in the band winning a 2008 Juno Award for New Group of the Year. For the past year the band has been hard at work on what will be their fourth studio album, entitled New Inheritors, which will hit stores on May 18th in North America. As a first taste the band is offering up the albums title track for free.
Broken Social Scene Prep New Album
That’s right, Kevin Drew and the gang will be dropping a brand new full length on May 4th, which will most likely make this winter feel much longer and colder than it actually is for those of us who can’t wait to hear this one. Read more…

Montreal’s Stars is a band that for over the course of 10 years, 4 albums and a whole bunch of EPs have solidified their place as one of Montreal’s most notable bands. It’s been awhile since we have heard from these guys but as we found out in this interview, they have been quite busy.
