Saturday Video Parade!
This week, we’ve got a lot of big names for you! We’ve included the final video off The Roots‘ forthcoming undun, the Fleet Foxes‘ latest music off of Helplessness Blues, new MGMT as well as The Weeknd‘s first official music video for “The Knowing”. Mother Mother – Cabaret Mile-End – 12.11.11
I’m not going to lie, last Saturday night’s crowd at the Cabaret du Mile-End turned out to be a pretty crazy bunch of individuals, sardine-packed into a sold-out venue. Both bands having performed in at least one Osheaga festival here in Montreal, were very impressed with the feedback they got from their experience. They were definitely not left disappointed by the turnout for November 12th’s show either.
The Fans of Osheaga 2011
Osheaga 2011 was a very special year not only because of the amazing amount of great bands and artists that showed up to play this year’s festival, but because of all the wonderful fans that came out to enjoy the festivities. The Osheaga Festival would be nothing without the fans so as a tribute to all the amazing personalities that come together every summer to enjoy a weekend full of great music, here’s some photos of you, the fans.
Osheaga 2011: Day 3
Day 3 at Osheaga 2011 may go down in history as one of the best days in Osheaga history. Hour after hour and band after band, Sunday started on a high and ended on an even higher high as the 2011 edition of the festival came to a close in grandiose fashion. Osheaga 2011: Day 2
Saturday at Osheaga 2011 was even better than Friday with a full day of live music from noon till night. Canadian bands playing all day long and even headlining on the main stages. Could it get any better? Let’s not forget that Saturday at Osheaga was Death From Above 1979′s first show in Montreal since their breakup back in 2006. Osheaga 2011: Day 1
The skies over Montreal opened up last night with one of the most impressive lightning storms of the year thus far. Thankfully the rain didn’t start until the music over at Parc Jean Drapeau had stopped. Guide To Osheaga 2011: Day 3
This is it folks! The final day of Osheaga 2011 is rapidly approaching and it appears the Osheaga crew has saved the best for last this year. What a lineup we have in store for Sunday. Beirut, The Flaming Lips, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Death Cab For Cutie, Malajube, The Low Anthem, MSTKRFT. Guide To Osheaga 2011: Day 2
Day 2 of Osheaga 2011 is a big day for many reasons. Sure there are a ton of great bands and artists playing simultaneously all day long, but for many day 2 will always be remembered as the day that Death From Above 1979 return to the stage in Montreal for the first time since their breakup back in 2006. But before they take the stage at 7:25 PM there are a lot of other bands playing, often at the same time, but have no fear, we are here to help you resolve those conflicts with our guide to day 2 at Osheaga 2011.
Guide To Osheaga 2011: Day 1
It’s that time of year again! Montreal’s biggest music festival is just on the horizon and I’m sure you are just as excited as we are to set foot on the grounds of Parc Jean Drapeau for day one of the now three day Osheaga Festival. With over 90 bands and artists scheduled to perform you can rest assured that you will be faced with many tough decisions come Friday. The good news is we are back this year with our 3 part guide to Osheaga 2011 to help you resolve some very difficult conflicts. Let’s get going with day one at Osheaga which kicks off this Friday at 4:00 PM.
