The Fans of Osheaga 2011
Osheaga 2011 was a very special year not only because of the amazing amount of great bands and artists that showed up to play this year’s festival, but because of all the wonderful fans that came out to enjoy the festivities. The Osheaga Festival would be nothing without the fans so as a tribute to all the amazing personalities that come together every summer to enjoy a weekend full of great music, here’s some photos of you, the fans.
Osheaga 2011: Day 3
Day 3 at Osheaga 2011 may go down in history as one of the best days in Osheaga history. Hour after hour and band after band, Sunday started on a high and ended on an even higher high as the 2011 edition of the festival came to a close in grandiose fashion. Our trooper photographer Amelia Robitaille was back on day three to fight her way to the front of as many stages as possible to grab these fantastic photos for you. Osheaga 2011: Day 2
Saturday at Osheaga 2011 was even better than Friday with a full day of live music from noon till night. Canadian bands playing all day long and even headlining on the main stages. Could it get any better? Let’s not forget that Saturday at Osheaga was Death From Above 1979′s first show in Montreal since their breakup back in 2006. This is it folks! The final day of Osheaga 2011 is rapidly approaching and it appears the Osheaga crew has saved the best for last this year. What a lineup we have in store for Sunday. Beirut, The Flaming Lips, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Death Cab For Cutie, Malajube, The Low Anthem, MSTKRFT. Guide To Osheaga 2011: Day 2
Day 2 of Osheaga 2011 is a big day for many reasons. Sure there are a ton of great bands and artists playing simultaneously all day long, but for many day 2 will always be remembered as the day that Death From Above 1979 return to the stage in Montreal for the first time since their breakup back in 2006. But before they take the stage at 7:25 PM there are a lot of other bands playing, often at the same time, but have no fear, we are here to help you resolve those conflicts with our guide to day 2 at Osheaga 2011.
