Caroline Keating & The Hoof and The Heel – Casa Del Popolo – 08.11.11
Last night at Casa Del Popolo, Passovah presented two solid Montreal-based acts: Caroline Keating and The Hoof & The Heel. Although I’d been feeling somewhat under the weather, I would not have missed that show for the world. It became very apparent that I was not the only one who had eagerly awaited the chance to see these performances. The Casa Del Popolo venue went from full, to packed very quickly. Smiling faces listened, sang, and danced along together with Caroline Keating and The Hoof & The Heel ’til the very end of the night.
Passovah Anniversary Ticket Giveaway!
This week Passovah Productions will be celebrating their three year anniversary. In the three years since they first opened their doors the production company led by Montrealer Noah Bick has put on 76 quality shows in our city that many of us have enjoyed. Number 77 and 78 will take place this Thursday and Friday in Montreal and will serve as Passovah’s 3 year anniversary. This Week In Montreal
This week will be one of the best weeks for concerts in Montreal that we have seen in quite awhile. That is if you like people artists like Girl Talk and Max Tundra, or bands like Smith Westerns, The Low Anthem and Yukon Blonde. This week we also urge you to come out to celebrate Passovah‘s 3 year anniversary on Thursday and Friday night at Divan Orange and Il Motore. Passovah To Celebrate 3 Year Anniversary March 3 and 4
Its been three years since the young Noah Bick first opened the doors of Passovah Productions and started putting on shows in Montreal. 77 shows later it’s time to celebrate three years of excellent live music in Montreal with two more great shows. This Week in Montreal
Not feeling the holiday cheer just yet? We’ve got a few events that might just do the trick. The Passovah Holiday Party kicks off this busy weekend with performances by Adam & The Amethysts‘ Adam Waito, The Youjsh, and many more. Our own Holly Jolly Holiday Bash, in benefit of Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue, is happening this Sunday. If holiday songs, baked goods and warm drinks are your thing, we hope to see you! Finally, Broken Social Scene are in town this Saturday at Metropolis. Feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity to see this supergroup live again. Nothing quite warms our hearts, and sopping wet feet, like some BSS anthems. We’ve got a huge night of shows ahead of us tonight in Montreal.
