The Luyas – The Rialto Theatre – Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Tonight in the City
We’ve got a huge night of shows ahead of us tonight in Montreal. Free Download of the Week: The Luyas – “Tiny Head”
This week Montreal’s The Luyas will headline a show at the legendary Rialto Theatre in Montreal. Yes that’s the same Rialto Theatre that has been just sitting there unused on Parc Avenue between St. Viateur and Bernard for the past few years. Thanks to Passovah, The Rialto is re-opening it’s doors for a very special concert featuring some of Montreal’s most exciting bands. Along with The Luyas, we will also hear from The Hoof & The Heel and Avec Pas D’Casque. In celebration of this event we would like to offer you a track of The Luyas forthcoming debut LP called “Tiny Head” as this week’s free download.

Rah Rah – Green Room – Friday, February 26th, 2010
Last night was more of a party than a concert at Montreal’s Green Room, featuring three young, fresh faced Canadian bands. Starting off the night would be St. John’s Newfoundland’s Gramercy Riffs, followed by Montreal’s Black Mystic and the band of the night, Regina Saskatchewan’s Rah Rah.
