This Week in Montreal
I know we claim that every week is an exciting Montreal show week, but it’s hard not to when we’ve got some mammoth acts rolling into town. So pardon our exclamative tone, we’ll try our best to restrict our !!!!!!!!!!s to a bare minimum. Andrew Bird is one of the big ticket acts this week. With his chamber pop tunes, treasure trove of instruments and interesting socks, this is a show not to miss. Hometown heroes Wolf Parade are back, performing at Le National to promote their newest release Expo 86. While Handsome Furs, Sunset Rubdown and Frog Eyes shows have tide us over, it will be nice to see the boys back onstage again. However the fun does not end there! Keep reading for our highlights of shows happening this week, including Holy Fuck, Flaming Lips and Phantogram.
