It’s that time of year again! Montreal’s biggest music festival is just on the horizon and I’m sure you are just as excited as we are to set foot on the grounds of Parc Jean Drapeau for day one of the now three day Osheaga Festival. With over 90 bands and artists scheduled to perform you can rest assured that you will be faced with many tough decisions come Friday. The good news is we are back this year with our 3 part guide to Osheaga 2011 to help you resolve some very difficult conflicts. One of the most exciting times of the year for many Montrealers is the announcement of the lineup for the annual Osheaga Festival that happens every summer at Parc Jean Drappeau in Montreal. Well the time has come once again to find out who will be playing this year’s fest. The folks over at Osheaga let it slip last week that Eels would be playing as well as Death From Above 1979. Those who made it to Corona Theatre down on Notre Dame last night were rewarded with a night of beauty – both for the eyes and ears. Arcade Fire Win Grammy for Album of the Year!

There was a lot of hype surrounding Arcade Fire‘s performance at this year’s Grammy Awards. Everyone knew they were going to perform but I don’t think anyone would have guessed that they would steal the show. Not only did they win the evening’s final award for Album of the Year, but the awestruck band also came back on stage to play one more song and close out the show leaving many people in the twitter world saying Arcade Who?
