Au Revoir Simone + Alexa Wilding + The Hoof and the Heel – La Sala Rossa – Friday, July 16th, 2010

It has become my quest this summer to become more in touch with the performing side of the music world. Seeing that I am truly ambitious and quite motivated, I have started taking singing lessons, began plucking away at my Norman acoustic guitar, and have even gotten out my moleskin to write up any witty lyric I may think up while strolling through the park. Once I become less of a spaz and am able to successfully combine the strumming and singing all into one audible piece, the next step is to be brave enough to take it to the stage. In the mean time, I have been looking for inspiration here, there and everywhere… and what better place to look than the lovely Sala Rossa…After interviewing Alexa Wilding a few weeks back, I was really eager to see her and the fabulous Au Revoir Simone take to the Montreal stage.
