Last night was the highly anticipated Sweet Mother Logic Sensory Overload concert at Petit Campus. I must admit that I didn’t really know what I was in for as I walked through the doors and was handed a pair of 3D glasses but by the end of the night it was clear that last night’s show was like none other I had ever experienced.

This Week in Montreal
What a week of shows we have ahead of us. Kicking off tonight with Montreal’s own singer/songwriter David Martel, who will be playing some brand new songs from a his forthcoming EP, the week just get’s better and better culminating on Sunday night in the first night of Joanna Newsom‘s two sold out shows at the Ukrainian Federation. Busking For Change Montreal
Yesterday you may have noticed that your local busker’s had a little bit of a different aura surrounding them. You may have also noticed unusually large crowds of people gathering around to watch, along with green and red buckets that said War Child on the side. Well, if you hadn’t already guessed, these weren’t just your ordinary buskers. In fact, the buskers that you may have seen at Berri-UQAM and Place Des Arts metro stations and at various locations around the Eaton’s Center yesterday were some of Montreal’s finest musicians and pop stars, playing their hearts out for a very worthy cause.
