Interview: The Antlers
Brooklyn, New York’s The Antlers will be making their much anticipated return to Montreal tomorrow night at Il Motore. The band has been on the road with Editors and will soon embark on a tour across Europe. We were fortunate enough to be able to catch up with Antlers drummer Michael Lerner in advance of the band’s show tomorrow night. There is some good news for all you Antlers fans. Read on to find out what it is.
Before The Show: The Antlers – Il Motore – Wednesday, February 17th
I’ll start this off by getting something out of the way. I am a fan of The Antlers and their music, however, this isn’t a review of any sort, so that doesn’t factor into any of this. The Antlers roll in to town tomorrow in support of their critically acclaimed 2009 album Hospice.
Venue of the Month: Il Motore
It was a bit tough to choose our venue of the month for February, because of how many great shows are taking place throughout the city this month. But after much deliberation, we have chosen Il Motore, for the second time in three months, as our venue of the month of February.
