This Week In Montreal
While the thing that people will probably remember most about this week is the fact that Godspeed You! Black Emperor will make their long awaited return to the stage, we assure you there will be many other things to remember this week. How about the fact that this will be one of the best weeks for live music in Montreal that we have seen in quite awhile. And unless you have the ability to split yourself in two (or three) you will probably not be able to attend even half of the great shows going on this week, but we wish you luck in your quest. This Week in Montreal
While the weather may not be looking so hot for the week, there is good news on the horizon. Firstly, the Habs have made the playoffs, so there will be no rioting downtown (unless of course they win the first series). But more importantly, we’ve got an excellent week of concerts lined up. Kicking things off with Best Coast and No Joy tonight at The Friendship Cove and culminating on Sunday night with Gogol Bordello and DeVotchKa at Metropolis in what is sure to be one of the most entertaining shows on the year so far, the week is jam packed with great shows.
