On Saturday December 3rd, Montreal-based nerd-rock duo Cinéma L’Amour celebrated their second year as a band with their Second Birthday Bonanza, a music/art filled evening of rock. Saturday Video Parade!
After getting a chance to interview Local Natives member Kelcey Ayer a little while back and having a chance to catch the band live in Montreal this past week at La Tulipe it seems only fitting that we kick off this week’s Saturday Video Parade with the band’s brand new video for the song “Who Knows Who Cares” from their debut album Gorilla Manor; an album that will certainly crop up on many year end lists. Day 1 of Osheaga 2010 is in the books and I think we can all safely say that it was a huge success. Great music, perfect weather, good food, lots of free stuff and a grand finale of Arcade Fire is enough to make anyone giddy, but this day was much more than a long wait for Arcade Fire to play. We’ve gone on and on about how good this year’s Osheaga Festival is promising to be. The initial lineup boasted some incredible acts like Arcade Fire, Stars, Pavement and The National.
