2010 has been an amazing year for shows in Montreal thanks to our city’s wonderful concert promoters who have worked their butts off bringing in the worlds best musical talent for our viewing pleasure. After another meeting of the minds we have finally come up with a list of our top 10 shows of the year. This will be the final segment in our Best of 2010 series and we would like to take this time to thank all of you for making our first year running as special as it has been. Listen to the Entire Eclipse Soundtrack Right Now!
These Twlight films have got a lot of people going crazy don’t they? Well even if you aren’t a fan of the teenage vampire book/film series you have to admit that they put together some pretty impressive soundtracks. The last one featured bands like Grizzly Bear, Sea Wolf, Bon Iver, Thom Yorke and Lykki Li to name a few. The latest film in the series, Eclipse, hits theaters on June 30th but why wait until then to hear what the soundtrack will have for us this time around. Listen now!

Review: Surfer Blood – Astro Coast
Florida’s up and coming band Surfer Blood have released their killer (just check out the album art!) debut album after months of hype. Astro Coast is basically what you would end up with if Weezer, The Shins and the Beach Boys were all put in one great big melting pot and became one.
Review: OK GO – Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky
2010 is a year of much-anticipated releases, and with the recent release of Vampire Weekend’s Contra, and Owen Pallett’s Heartland, the hope was that 2010 would finally be the year OK GO would release a truly solid album. OK GO has had a shaky track record over the course of their short history as a band, and unfortunately, their latest effort, entitled Of the Blue Color of the Sky, does nothing to change that.
