Montrealers should really feel lucky this week. Let’s face it, how many times do we have Tony Bennett, Dave Brubeck, Peter Frampton and Kaki King playing at the same time as Hey Ocean!, The Dears, White Denim, Mazes, Jaga Jazzist, The Roots and Weezer. The Jazz Fest takes full swing this week with a variety of amazing shows going on all over the city. Osheaga 2010 Day 2 Recap
Well that’s all folks. Osheaga 2010 has come to an end. I think it’s safe to say a good time was had by all and despite the long lemonade lines (and consequently long bathroom lines) the entire weekend went off without a hitch. I think we all deserve to finally put our feet up and relax after standing for twenty hours with only a little rest in between days. Osheaga 2010 Lineup Announced
Osheaga lineup announcement day is always on of the most exciting for us Montreal music lovers. In the past we’ve had our share of ups and downs when it came to announcement day, but it seems that the last few years have been pretty disappointing for many. Well it’s time to get excited about our little island’s major summer festival again because the lineup this year is just about as good as it gets.
Review: Surfer Blood – Astro Coast
Florida’s up and coming band Surfer Blood have released their killer (just check out the album art!) debut album after months of hype. Astro Coast is basically what you would end up with if Weezer, The Shins and the Beach Boys were all put in one great big melting pot and became one.
